Campus to industry
We translate professional networks into formats students can actually enter.
We start from the real career questions UBC students face, then connect industry knowledge, people, and actionable opportunities around them.
Start with the real questions students face.
Bring professional context closer.
Connect events, mentors, and partners.
Build confidence and opportunity.
We are committed to shaping a more professional and high-impact career community at UBC: one that brings diverse perspectives, deeper insights, and direct access to industry leaders, real opportunities, and real-world execution; one that helps students gain clarity, build meaningful connections, and create lasting career opportunities.
UBC LINK is a BC-registered non-profit and a professional development organization founded by UBC students and alumni. We started LINK after recognizing a common gap in student career development: students do not simply need more career events. They need access to practical industry knowledge, meaningful professional connections, and real opportunities that help them understand and enter the workplace. Through industry panels, networking events, mentorship, and partnerships with professionals across finance, technology, consulting, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and beyond, LINK creates career experiences that are thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely valuable for both students and speakers.
UBC LINK is not only an event organizer. It is a professional development platform built to help students enter industry conversations earlier and with more confidence.
We translate professional networks into formats students can actually enter.
Panels, forums, and mentorship help students understand industries before they apply.
The goal is not one event. It is a durable bridge between students, alumni, and professionals.
